VARIETIES & SWEETNESS
The Kent variety is easily our most popular of all. It has the highest amount of sweetness of all of our varieties and is best if you are looking to make a batch of homemade jams or jellies. The darker the colour, the sweeter it will be.
The Jewel variety is also very sweet. It has a lovely conical shape and does not bruise easily. It makes delicious preserves and pies, as they keep their shape, and are very sweet. They are also a great variety to use in fruit platters.
This is a berry with an excellent, fresh flavour. It has a medium red colour and is easy to pick off the plant. It has a red core when cut open.
CABOT / AVERAGE
This is one of our latest producing and largest varieties we have ever grown. It has a mild strawberry taste but it is sweet. You have to see them to believe them. Come to pick them near mid to end of July.

Wear A Hat/Sunglasses
Stay safe outdoors by wearing a hat and sunglasses! These accessories protect your skin and eyes from harmful UV rays while picking strawberries.
Dress In Layers
Dress in layers for strawberry picking. It’s easier to remove clothing if you get warm, helping to prevent overheating and sunstroke.
Sensible Footwear
For strawberry picking, wear sturdy, comfortable shoes like sneakers or waterproof boots for support and traction. Avoid sandals or flip-flops, as they won't protect your feet.
